CORFU

Corfu is famous for its excellent beaches, Venetian fortress and small ports built under the Italian, French, and British. Of great interest in Corfu is the Town Hall building, a beautiful example of Venetian Architecture.

DELOS

Delos is the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, in the sacred island of antiquity. This once flourishing island is now uninhabited, leaving priceless archaeological treasures such as the famous Row of Lions, the three temples of Apollo and magnificent Hellenistic mosaics.

IOS

Ios is the "something different" of the Cycladic group of islands. The island has countless chapels, olive groves, vineyards, and a lucid atmosphere with beautiful sandy beaches.

ITHAKI

The island where Odysseus was born. In the village of Pragori you can visit a medieval monastery, and in the south part of the island one can find traces of worship of Hera, Artemis and Athena. The islands' capital is peaceful and quiet with local cafes and taverns.

KALYMNOS

 Greece Carriage Well known for its natural sponge-fishing. A tradition of hundreds of years which is alive in our days. Pothia is the islands' capital with 11,000 inhabitants. It is built in the valley and at the foothills of the surrounding mountains. Some of the most beautiful architectural buildings in town are the Town-Hall and the Library. Not to be missed are the sponge factories.

KEA

This is an island of barren slopes dotted with small cultivated valleys, charming sandy beaches, fruit orchards, quaint villages, lots of windmills and a large number of churches.

KEFALONIA

This island has a unique charm of its own. One can visit the museum at Kefalonia's capital Argostoli, spend the day at the beautiful beaches nearby, or visit the famous caves and the chapels of the island.

KOS

The slim and fertile island of Kos is the home of immortal Hippocrates, the father of medicine. Kos has a wealth of ancient and medieval sites, such as the Palace of the Knights, the Doric temple of Aphrodite and the town museum exhibiting the celebrated status of Hippocrates (dating back to the 4th century BC) and the renowned Asklepeion. Modern Kos offers night-life for all tastes.

LEFKAS

The fertile land of Lefkas is connected by a narrow strip of land to the mainland of Greece. It is surrounded by many tiny isles which offer the most thrilling view. South of the island is a unique site where excavations have uncovered relics of a prehistoric settlement. All over the island you will see Lefkada women wearing the traditional black, dark-brown, red, green or blue costumes.

LIPSI - LEROS

The history of Lipsi and Leros is identical to the other Dodecannese islands, though it was the first inhabited in the pre-historical times. The important location of the islands were only valued during the Byzantine period. During, the 11AC century the island of Lipsi was under the command of Patmos' Monastery. From this period until 1522 many churches and important monasteries were built. Today's small towns were first inhabited in 1669. Distances are small, the paved and narrow streets lead to the churches, monasteries and the beautiful clean beaches. Lipsi is surrounded by 25 small islands, which conclude the beautiful Aegean picture. When Leros was under Italian occupation the port started growing fast and quickly. The town built during this period has numerous beautiful buildings of Italian architecture, in contrast to the old castles and monasteries. This island was used as an exile during various periods. Beautiful small sandy beaches with crystal clear waters are to be found all around this peaceful island.

MYKONOS

Mykonos Beach, Greek Islands White-washed houses, narrow paved alleys, windmills, numerous shops selling local arts and crafts, open air cafes, small taverns and night sports, adds to the uniqueness of the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos.

PARGA

This is one of the most beautiful villages on the west coast of the mainland. Crystal blue waters and beaches of extraordinary beauty surround the village. For those interested in archaeology, the museum of Parga is worth a visit.

PAROS

Paros is famous for its Parian marble. Parikia, is the islands' capital with Katapoliani church, contains priceless Byzantine religious relics, icons, scoes and woodcarvings. When weather allows, the Zeus anchors outside the beautiful fishing village of Naoussa, where Zeus' beach BBQ is takes place.

PATMOS

The "holy island" is of great religious importance, since it is there hat St. John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelations. The Monastery of St. hn, founded in 1088 by the blessed Christodoulos, is considered one of the richest and most influential monasteries in all of Greece.

PAXI

This is a peaceful island with hospitable inhabitants. The island is best known for its attractive coast, fine beaches, caves and crystal clear waters.

RHODES

Charming small villages, ancient ruins, the aura of the Orient, a Medieval town and exceptional night life are some of the main attractions of this famous Greek island. The Colossus of Rhodes, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, once greeted you as you enter the port. Visit the old town of Rhodes built in the 12th century by the Knights of St. John, and Lindos with its ancient Acropolis for a truly panoramic view of the blue Aegean.

SANTORINI

Santorini, Greece, Buildings Santorini is the most unique island on earth, and is the possible site of the lost continent Atlantis. Packs of mules or donkeys carry visitors from the harbor of Skala to Fira, the islands capital, which is built at the top of the black, crescent shaped volcanic crater. Do not miss an excursion to Akrotiri with excavations from the Minoan Civilization.

SYMI

One of the most beautiful smaller islands of the Dodecannese. Apart from the numerous beautiful beaches hidden between the rocks, the islands capital Yiallos, is one of the picturesque spots of the island. The main profession for men through hundreds of years has been the sponge fishing, as well as the shipbuilding and design for which Symians are famous.

TINOS

Tinos is the sacred island of modern Greece, crowned by the Church of Evangelistria. Although the port does not fancy the eye, the island's picturesque villages (Pyrgos, Falatados, and Panormos) are of great interest.
